What is the best free accounting software?
accounting software April 29th, 2009I will do my husbands accounting for his small buisness he is starting (welding) and I need something kinda easy. I work in accounts payable at my job, but to do the full accounting is very different. I looked at the intuit quick books but it's kinda confusing, or I just don't know how to use it. Please help

You're risking bankruptcy if you can't actually *do* the accounting. Programs won't do it for you, they're just tools to make it easier. If you can't do receivables and GL hire an accountant, a bookkeeper or even a student taking a general business class who's finished the bookkeeping classes – it's cheaper than going out of business.
