Need simple cash accounting software, everything I try is too complicated?

I spend 1000 to 1500 a month on cash purchases and want software to track them. One Person Office did the job just fine in DOS 5. There are no simple Windows programs that I can find. Keepsoft Home Book keeping Lite is pretty good but it badgers U to Upgrade, so I upgraded but the badgering won't go away and I don't like the full program. Suggestions?
